Prologue
A brown cat appeared from the shadows, her claws shining in the moonlight as she padded ahead recklessly. Snarling she growled, "Now you will suffer what I suffered. Eternal darkness!" Another cat who fur color was a russet red looked at the brown cat in surprise. "Who are you?" she snarled back, completely unaware that the cat in front of her was her own sister.
Smiling evilly, the brown she-cat meowed "My name is Zyra"
"W-what that was my s-sister's name" meowed red cat.
"Do you not remember me, Dawn?" asked Zyra, flexing her claws, almost in boredom. Dawn stared at Zyra in horror. Now she knew this was her sister and that her sister was about to kill her. Leaping up high in the air, Dawn tries escape from her den. She had to tell someone what happened or else.. her clan would be destroyed. "Jayce!" she called with desperation showing thick in her voice. No.. No.. This couldn't be happening.
Zyra was not doing anything that Dawn was doing. She clammy just followed Dawn, her long legs allowed her to go faster then Dawn and when she was by Dawn. Zyra had leaped on her and with one swift bite, took one of her sister's life.
Chapter 1
"You can't catch me!" taunted Zyra, running around. Laughing, Dawn followed. Dawn started to pick up her pace and eventually she was on Zyra's heel.
"What did you say again?" teased Dawn, her legs were strong and didn't wobble unlike Zyra's. Leaping in the air, Dawn landed on Zyra and they rolled on the fresh grass, having a whole lot of fun. Eyes twinkling, Dawn leaned i and pokd Zyra's belly, playfully, over and over again.
"Stop!" laughed Zyra, howling in laughter. But Dawn didn't stop. She kept on poking and poking.
"Can't you kits stop messing with out work" was Tryndamere's sharp reply,
"Zyra, this is the second time you did this". DAwn quickly jumped off and Zyra and ran away. Leaving her sister to fend for herself.
Eyes wide and heart thumping, Zyra squeaked,
"sorry". Tyrndamere did a little a sigh and then meowed to her,
"I'm sorry I said that to you. We're all not that used to being in a clan. If you want and if your mother approves, I guess you can help me fix the warrior's den". Looking at the huge tom, Zyra smiled happily and the raced away to find her mother. This was an once-in-a-life time offer! Spotting the brown tabby fur of her mother, she followed the trail of fur. Her mother shed a lot so she didn't care about the fur.
Finally she saw the round, beautiful shape of her mother.
"Mamma, can I hel-" she stopped suddenly when her mother made no movement. Guessing she was asleep, Zyra went over to her.
